About this role:

Join our dynamic FinTech environment at Wonga, where you will be responsible for Data Platform. Platform Teams build new services in AWS and implement new trends like serverless, containers, infrastructure-as-code and everything-as-code in practice. We manage on-prem datacenter environments those run  DB and Data Warehouse environments. DBA Team manages SQL DB engines, BI Services, Data apps and carrying about performance, reliability, security, monitoring and maintenance as well as cooperates with many other tech and business teams across organization.

Data Platform Engineer / DBA

Your daily tasks:

• Implement Data Platform initiatives.
• Monitor and maintain Data Services components.
• Constantly improve SQL performance.
• Optimize data in Data Services to achieve storage reliability and handle data growth.
• Implement security practices in Data Services.
• Work with Development Team to optimize data structures and improve application performance.
• Work with BI Team to help with OPS changes.
• Work with users to implement change management.

This role is for you if you have:

• Proficiency in any modern programming language with at least 2 years usage on commercial projects.
• At least 5 years of experience as a DBA or Data Platform engineer with strong understanding of relational (MS SQL Server) and non-relational databases.
• At least 3 years of experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes on custom technology or any public like Kafka, Apache Hadoop etc.
• At least 3 years of experience in data modeling and architecture including designing data schemas, data warehousing and data streaming in HA environment.
• Experience in infrastructure management for data platform on on-prem and cloud (MS Azure).
• Experience in implementing data security measures and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations including DRP and BCP for data platform.
• Great collaboration and communication  skills.

Podane przez Panią/Pana dane osobowe będą przetwarzane przez Administratora na podstawie art. 6 ust. 1 lit. c RODO (wypełnianie przez Administratora ciążących na nim obowiązków prawnych) poprzez przetwarzanie danych osobowych kandydata do pracy przez Pracodawcę w związku z art. 221 Kodeksu Pracy oraz na podstawie Pani/Pana dobrowolnej zgody, w przypadku przekazania przez Panią/Pana Administratorowi, danych osobowych wykraczających poza zakres obligatoryjnych danych wynikający z przepisów Kodeksu pracy (podstawa – art. 6 ust. 1 lit. a RODO).

Pani/Pana dane osobowe będą przetwarzane w celu niezbędnym do realizacji procesu rekrutacji oraz w celu zapewnienia rozliczalności.

Pani/Pana dane osobowe mogą być przekazywane następującym kategoriom odbiorców: spółkom z grupy kapitałowej; podmiotom świadczącym usługi rekrutacyjne na rzecz Administratora; dostawcom oprogramowania i usług technologicznych; organom ścigania, a także innym organom i podmiotom, jeżeli obowiązek przekazania danych wynika przepisów prawa.

Pani/Pana dane osobowe będą przekazywane do państwa trzeciego (USA) na podstawie standardowych klauzul umownych przyjętych przez Komisję Europejską. Posiada Pani/Pan prawo do otrzymania kopii wskazanych wyżej klauzul, a także do uzyskania do nich dostępu. W tej sprawie należy skontaktować się z Administratorem lub inspektorem ochrony danych.

Posiada Pani/Pan prawo do dostępu do treści swoich danych, ich sprostowania, usunięcia, żądania ograniczenia przetwarzania, przeniesienia, wniesienia sprzeciwu wobec przetwarzania oraz wniesienia skargi do Prezesa Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych.

Zgoda na przetwarzanie Pani/ Pana danych może być wycofana w każdym czasie, co nie wpłynie na legalność przetwarzania Pani/Pana danych osobowych przed wycofaniem zgody.

Podane przez Panią/Pana dane osobowe zostaną usunięte po cofnięciu przez Panią/Pana zgody na przetwarzanie Pani/Pana danych osobowych, a także po upływie okresu, podczas, którego Administrator przetwarza Pani/Pana dane osobowe w celu obrony przed ewentualnymi roszczeniami. W celu zapewnienia rozliczalności Pracodawca będzie przechowywać dane osobowe przez okres wymagany do zachowania danych osobowych danych lub dokumentów je zawierających dla udokumentowania spełnienia wymagań prawnych, w umożliwienia kontroli ich spełnienia przez organy publiczne. W przypadku wyrażenia przez Panią/Pana zgody na przetwarzanie Pani/Pana danych osobowych na potrzeby przyszłych rekrutacji, dane te będą przechowywane do momentu wycofania przez Panią/Pana zgody na przetwarzanie danych osobowych.

Podanie przez Panią/Pana danych osobowych jest dobrowolne, ale konieczne w zakresie w jakim wynika to z art. 221 § 1 Kodeksu Pracy. Niepodanie przez Panią/Pana powyższych danych może skutkować wyłączeniem Pani/Pana z procesu rekrutacji. Podanie przez Panią/Pana danych osobowych w szerszym zakresie niż wynika to z Kodeksu pracy jest dobrowolne i nie jest konieczne.

Pani/Pana dane osobowe nie będą przetwarzane w formie profilowania. W stosunku do Pani/Pana nie będą podejmowane decyzje, opierające się wyłącznie na zautomatyzowanym przetwarzaniu, w tym profilowaniu.
